Visiting the Cemeteries in Portsmouth
All three cememteries are usually open between 9am and dusk.
Kingston Cemetery
This cemetery has gates at both the North (New Road) and South (St Mary's Road). The former is for pedestrians only whilst the latter can be used by cars. Park along the main drive.

Please Note: This section records the memorials in the cemeteries. The distinction between a memorial and a headstone is not definitive, so for this section it is assumed that a headstone becomes a memorial if it offers information that places the subject, their relatives and/or their work in a wider context. The War Graves are defined as those under the protection of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and are detailed in a separate section.
