Further Information
The memorial incorrectly records the sinking of HMT Royal Edward (see Edwin John Norman Eves) as being on 14th July 1915. It should have been 13th August 1915. Eves is also named on the memorial in Portsmouth Cathedral which commemorates the former employees of the City Electrical Supply who gave their lives in WW1.
The date of death for Sgt. Goodwillie is also wrong in that it records the year as 1915 when it should be 1916. It is correctly recorded on the Memorial to Sgt. Goodwillie in St. Mary's Church.
