Sidney John Walter BUDDEN was a driver in the Royal Field Artillery, 5th "C" Reserve Brigade (Service No. 1357). He died on 26/12/1916 aged 22 years and is buried in Kingston Cemetery Portsmouth (Grave Ref: Gillett's 6.13.). He was the son of James Budden, of 103, Crasswell St., Portsmouth.
 
W. MIDDLEWOOD was a driver in the Royal Field Artillery, "B" Bty. 82nd Brigade (Service No. 1358). He died on 21/07/1917 aged 22 years and is buried in Dickebushe New Military Cemetery Extension, Ieper, Belgium. He was the son of Mary Matilda Middlewood, of 61, East St., Southsea, Portsmouth.
 
Edwin J.N. EVES was a private in the Hampshire Regiment, 2nd Btn. (Service No. 10626). He died on 13/08/1915 when HMT Royal Edward on which he had embarked was sunk by torpedo, and is remembered on the Helles Memorial, Turkey. He formerly lived at 171 Shearer Road, Landport. His name also appears on the WW1 Memorial in St Wilfrid's Church.
 
A.E. KEYWOOD was a Bombadier in the Royal Field Artillery, 215th Brigade (Service No. 850280). He died on 28/05/1917 and is buried in Baghdad (North Gate) Cemetery.
 
Edmund J. MEADE was a Rifleman with the London Regiment (Queen's Westminster Rifles), 16th Bn. (Service No. 556916). He died on 30/12/1917 when the ship HMT Arragon on which he had embarked was torpedoed and sank. He is remembered on the Chatby Memorial, Egypt. He formerly lived at 35 Thorncroft Road, Landport.
