Further Information
There are plaques to Richard and Emma Ford in St Peters and St Pauls Church, Wymering; both are buried in the adjoining cemetery. A further plaque, formerly in the Royal Garrison Church, is currently (2006) at the English Heritage store in Fort Brockhurst. The latter page contains more detailed information about the Ford Family.
The surviving brothers and sister of Charles Ford who erected the lower plaque were Archibold Henry Ford (Architect, 1846-1930), General Sir Richard William Ford RAMC (1857-1925), Emma Beatrice Garrington (1856-??) and possibly Dr. Arthur Vernon Ford (1854-1918).
