Further Information
In 1979/80 Patricia Lovell photographed this memorial (see left) propped up outside what is now the Museum store. It was plainly in a vulnerable position and it may have been during its time there that it became damaged and was taken into the store. We are grateful to Patricia for permission to reprint this image.

The original war memorial referred to on this plaque is now at St. Barbara's Church, Deepcut
