There are two plaques associated with this memorial. One is lost whilst the other is at the English Heritage store, Fort Brockhurst, Gosport [EH Ref No. 87900118]. The plaques were originally sited on one of the benches in the nave. This area of the church suffered the worst effects of the bombing in 1941.
The surviving plaque is made of metal and is very dirty, though the text is still legible.

Further Information
These plaques were fixed to one of the nave benches. The ledger suggests that the second plaque was fixed to the back of the bench, whilst the D.D. plaque may have been placed on the end of the bench in the same way as all the others in this section. The 1873 Guide does not mention the D.D. plaque.
