Further Information
This memorial is believed to have been associated with the dedication of a window in the north wall of the nave, the fourth from the west end. However the wording as recorded in the 1873 Guide to the Church is slightly different in that it says "To the Glory of God and in memory of the twelve chaplains who fell while striving to do their duty during the Crimean war, this window is dedicated by the Chaplain Department of the Army".

Further details of the Twelve Chaplains can be found on the page recording a Pew Plaque to the Chaplains in the chancel. A third plaque to the Chaplains was on a Bench Plaque in the Nave.
