Location

This memorial was originally sited at the west end of the south wall to the nave. The exact position is unknown, but the 1873 Guide to the Church lists this memorial in the same section as that for Captain William Madden which still exists.

THOMAS ROBINSON, SERGT-MAJOR
OF THE PORTSMOUTH DIVISION OF ROYAL MARINES
WHO DIED JUNE 1ST 1822, AGED 40 YEARS
THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY
THE NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF THAT CORPS,
AS A MARK OF THEIR ESTEEM AND RESPECT
FOR A BRAVE SOLDIER AND A WORTHY MAN
