According to the 1873 Guide to the Church this memorial was originally sited in the North Transept, an area now largely occupied by the organ. It is believed that the memorial remains in situ behind the organ.

IN MEMORY OF H. G. ANDRAE, ESQUIRE, LATE BANDMASTER 0F THE 4TH (KING'S OWN) REGIMENT, WHO DIED FEBRUARY 11TH, 1850, AGED 49 YEARS. THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE BAND OF THE REGIMENT, AS A TESTIMONY OF THE RESPECT FOR THEIR DEPARTED MASTER. " REQUIESEAT IN PACE."
