Further Information
The inscription for this memorial (87900137) is slightly different from that recorded in the 1873 Guide to the Church which also lays out the material in a rectangular, rather than linear format. It is possible that the author was confusing it with the Bench Plaque to the regiment. Amongst other differences the Guide records the name listed here as Ensign Heming as HENNING. The window was given to the church as a farewell offering.
