Further Information
There is an account of the loss of the ship on The Camber in the Old Portsmouth section, a second memorial in The Bridge Tavern and a third individual memorial to Guy Ransom Davies.
A second memorial to the men who lost their lives aboard the Wilhelmina J exists in the cathedral. Johnson's Sea Enterprises paid for the installation of a Hermit's Cell situated at the top of the north west tower. The cell was the inspiration of Provost David Stancliffe, and is provided as a place of complete isolation for those who come to study or meditate.
