Beneath this stone lyes the
earthly remains of Ambrose
Stanyford who by the Good pro-
vidence of God was ye happy ins-
trument of Contriveing, frameing,
& furnishing ye inside beauty of this
house for ye glory of God & to ye
joy & comfort of his People As-
sembling hear (sic) to his worship
he Departed This Life
the 8th October 1694
There also lyes the Remains
of Sarah the wife of Henry Stany-
ford, son of ye said Ambro' who
Departed this life
ye 10th October 1694
as also Henry son of ye said Henry
& Sarah who dyed February
The 27th 1694/5
