Further Information
The London Road Baptist Church fell out of use in 2002 and was eventually sold off for redevelopment. The City Museum were alerted to the fact and arranged to remove church records and the memorial before they were lost. The memorial now resides at the Hilsea storage depot.

In 2014 the City Museum hosted an exhibition called 'Lest We Forget' which commemorated the beginning of the Great War. The Baptist Church memorial was one of the exhibits. It was mounted horizontally.
