Further Information
The window was presented by the local association in August 1982. Kohima is a town in the Indian province of Nagaland, close to the Burmese border, and was the scene of a notable siege during the Japanese invasion of India in the Spring of 1944. The defeat of the Japanese by the Allied Forces was the turning point of the Burma Campaign.
